Sheet music for solo guitar<\/p>\n
Tiempos<\/strong><\/em> : cycle of four pieces for guitar(s). Commissioned by the Maison des pratiques amateurs (Paris). <\/p>\n A cycle of pieces with a deliberately Hispanic flavor, each of which (at different levels) explores a specific aspect of the instrument. Their difficulty of execution is inversely proportional to the number of guitars required. <\/p>\n Tiempo de fiesta<\/strong><\/em> for solo guitar (very difficult)<\/p>\n The season of celebration<\/em>: so beloved by all Spanish people (whether from the south or north, the 17th or 21st century), the piece celebrates the very idea of celebration with its preparations, joy, excesses (virtuosity), and rest (well deserved).<\/p>\n Tiempo de saeta<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/em> for eight guitars (easy- intermediate)<\/p>\n The season of the saeta<\/em>: the piece is loosely based on the religious processions of Holy Week in Andalusia. At certain points during the procession, anyone can step out of the crowd and freely sing a saeta (a song) in honor of the Virgin or Christ to express their faith. <\/p>\n
