Isabelle Donati
After literary studies, she attended a preparatory class at the Ecole des Chartes, then turned resolutely to Music and Piano, first at the Ecole Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot, then at the Conservatory of Versailles and she finished her classical studies at the Conservatory of Metz in the class of Jeanne Rougier and Jacques Aboulker where she obtained two Gold Medals.
At the same time she studied composition with Claude Lefebvre at the Centre Européen pour la Recherche Musicale.
Very early attracted by the mixture of arts, she meets thanks to the contemporary pianist Martine Joste, the Italian composer Sylvano Bussotti and creates around one of his works: “Naked Angel Face” her first multi-media show. This was followed by other shows in the Lorraine region ” Res Tremendae ” ” Le Génie des Laumes ” supported by the Region and the DRAC Lorraine.
She also writes operas for children including “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” on a tale of the Grimm brothers created at the Opera de Nice in June 2017.
