Yves Verne

Yves VERNE began studying the accordion at the age of 8.

Then, it is at the National Conservatory of Region of Lyon, in the class of Alain Londeix that he begins his learning of the percussion. He obtained the Gold Medal.

He began his professional career in variety bands.

In 1970, he joins the National Orchestra of Lyon where he is a percussionist.

At the same time, he played in various chamber music ensembles.

Then, in 1992, he devoted himself exclusively to teaching.
Holder of the certificate of aptitude for the functions of professor, he teaches percussion at the National Conservatory of Region of Lyon.
