She graduated from the Conservatory of Tourcoing where she obtained a gold medal in percussion and jazz. She continued her studies at the CNSM of Lyon in the class of François Dupin.
Then her artistic life revolves around eclectic formations and projects:
Duo Pianisticks (FNAPEC prize, special prize at the International Chamber Music Competition of the U.F.A. M), DuoDam, SR Quartet (cd: Around West Side), Duo Peau d’âne and trio Barbe bleue (texts by Sylvie Nève), Tsuru (Japanese tale) and Change (Sinfonia concertante for 2 soloists, composition : Jacques Schab), Issa,FAMIM 2, Ode à Oum Kalthoum (compositions by Emmanuel Séjourné), Bande de Gaza (composition by Eric Daubresse, IRCAM).
The duo formed with Emmanuel Séjourné has been heard in Germany, Korea (Seoul International Percussion Festival), Latvia and France (Paris, Salle Cortot, Grenoble, Challans, Montbéliard, Arras).
She joined the contemporary music ensemble Accroche note in 2011, the Lucilin ensemble.
Her interest in improvisation leads her to play with Louis Sclavis, Eric Truffaz, Jean-Pierre Como, Renaud Garcia Fons, Franck Tortiller, Ravi Prasad, Adel Shams el din, Carlo Rizzo.
She collaborates with the theatrical improvisation league of Marcq en Baroeul and the National Choreographic Center of Roubaix.
Sylvie Reynaert is also involved in teaching, she is a percussion teacher at the CMA of the 11th district of Paris, at the CRR of Strasbourg and regularly gives master classes. Gathering student percussionists, she created the Sticks Orchestra in 2010 and the orchestra of young percussionists of Paris in 2013.
