Rule of the game:
After working on each study on the snare drum alone, the student will recompose the study for two or three instruments: snare drum, high tom, low tom, while keeping its rhythmic structure.
The challenge will be to learn how to move from one instrument to another while keeping the technique, the pulse and the sound color by paying attention to the location of the stroke. Afterwards, it will be a matter of adding nuances, the goal being to give the possibility of approaching a “set-up” of multipercussion or drum set installation.
