These five “minute pieces” are like snapshots of different characters and moods:

The first, “Comic Reise”, offers a comic-book atmosphere with a humorous, imaginary musical dialogue.

“De bumper en bumper” illustrates the random and sometimes unexpected path of a pinball, with its sometimes binary, sometimes ternary measures and contrasting nuances.

The centerpiece of the collection, “Immersion” is a more interior, meditative piece, based on the repetition of an ostinato that alternates bars in 7/8 and 6/8, with a melody that seems to float above.

After a slightly crazy and humorous presto (“Presto loco”), the light-hearted and lively “Valse des ogresses” rounds off this series of “Modèles Réduits”.
