« Pensées simples » is a fleeting piece, as if composed of the many thoughts that make up our daily lives—simple or complex, fleeting or lingering—that we reflect on as the day draws to a close, sometimes shaping our dreams.
The saxophone, and more specifically the baritone saxophone, is one of those hybrid instruments that have always fascinated me.
Imposing and powerful, it is nonetheless imbued with extreme sensitivity, even sensuality.
