Utage – Aïko Miyamoto

“In Japan, a “Utage” is a group of friends who get together to have a party.

This evening everything is allowed, we sing and dance, we have fun.

In this work I wanted to tell a “Utage”: a Japanese song is sung, followed by a fast and accentuated dance, becoming, in the excitement of the party, completely disorganized.
