24 studies for violin Volume 2. Studies 13 to 24. – Robert Waechter

Sheet music for solo violin or with accompaniment.

These pieces are intended for solo violin, but they can also be played as a duo.

Either the second voice reinforces the rhythmic pattern, or it develops a melodic line. It can be adapted (octave and/or ignore note repetitions) freely for any instrument.

A second violin or a vibraphone are very suitable. A good sense of rhythm is a prerequisite for a clean and precise technique.

Almost all of these studies are written in asymmetric measures. The almost permanent change of binary and ternary figures requires a great concentration on the regularity of small note values. Expressions are free.

A ‘5’ as fingering means extension. X = sound without defined pitch.
