12 pieces with audio accompaniment to learn rhythm with percussion

These 12 pieces are mainly intended for students of percussion classes, but can also be of interest to music education classes, as the parts to be played do not include technical elements related to percussion (no appogiaturas, rolls, bounces, complex fingerings…)

The approach is progressive, with the student discovering a new rhythmic figure with each piece. The main idea is to be able to associate the new rhythm with an easy to remember melody.

The duration of the pieces is relatively short (from 50” to 3’30) and the musical styles varied. The recorded accompaniments are made with virtual instruments and mixed as best as possible to give the most realism. They are available in 3 different versions:

• normal tempo
• slow tempo (80% of normal tempo)
• normal tempo without the student’s part
