Multiple percussion book with 18 short and easy pieces, and exercises to train young percussionnist in his first year. Simple instrumentation using snare drum, tom toms, cymbal, and wood-block.
The object of the two quires “Poly-Perc” is to initiate the pupils percussionists with the handling of the multi-percussions at the beginning of the training.
The pieces are sometimes written on a stave, sometimes on simple lines, with imposed provisions: For the Tricotis: the lower register at left; For the Drums: the lower register at right. Of constraints and of the habits readings often met in the profession of percussionist. Add around of the snare drum, a tom, a cymbal, a wood-block; become aware of the space, to appropriate it; and always to have fun playing; such is the purpose of these collections of short and playful parts,
The first quire (cycle 1) contains also seven exercises “Sounds dual”, which can be played on whichever instrument skin or other idiophone. The layout is free: the low-pitched to the left or to the right; two on-line instruments.. The tempo is indicative and according to the adroitness of the young musician.
Everything is left to the disposal of the teacher.
The first volume is intended for students of first year.
The second can cover the second and third years.
